This statement gluggle jug is a traditional design, shaped in the style of a koi fish with a mouth-shaped pourer. Named for the 'glug glug' sound it makes when liquid is poured out, this duck egg blue jug can be used as a statement table piece for hosting, a decorative vase in your hallway or living room, or as a playful ornament and utensil pot. Engraved with scales, fins and face details, this piece has a handle formed from its curved tail, and a base for it to stand on.

Makes for a fun conversational piece on the dinner table or when hosting friends and family.

I had seen these before whilst watching antiques programmes and was very surprised when I was asked to buy one from Oliver Bonas. I love the colour of it and find it very interesting. I know it is called a Gluggle jug because of the sound it makes when pouring liquid out of it, but it is also a decorative item, and looks great on a shelf.

It looks great. Good quality. The gluggle itself isn’t as impressive as I’d have expected, but then again, how many times realistically will I expect a perfect glug! It does the job.
